Massage Therapist jobs at the recovery project
The Recovery Project is looking to hire a professional sports massage therapist to provide our clients with a wide range of massage services. The therapist will consult with clients, screen them for underlying conditions, assist with selecting appropriate services, inquiries and explain treatments and packages.
The Recovery Project provides sports massage, dry cupping, dry needling, soft tissue release, assisted stretches and scraping therapy. The preferred candidate is proficient in one or more of these treatments. Preferred candidates are friendly, proactive, service-oriented and knowledgeable.
Massage Therapist Responsibilities:
Deliver 15-30 client sessions per week.
Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions.
Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organised environment.
Setting up the treatment room and work area, ensure cleanliness and tidiness throughout the shift.
Assist with keeping linen clean and tidy, and replacing them between sessions.
Sterilising equipment.
Consult with clients to identify appropriate massage services.
Maintain client records and filing documentation.
Comply with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.
Massage Therapist Requirements:
Preferably 2 years or more of work experience as a massage or physio therapist.
Newly qualified physio will be considered.
Proficient knowledge in any of: reflexology, manual therapy, sports massage, cupping or deep tissue massage.
Proficient computer skills.
Excellent English skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent people skills.
Well-groomed, professional appearance.
Comfortable with performing massages on diverse clients.
This role is both salary and commission based. On target earnings of 10m per month.
